Ride to the Wall

Rides to the American Veterans Traveling Tribute - THE WALL at the Veterans Tribute Rally - 2008 are being organized across the Northwest and beyond. Rides to the Wall are an emotional, rewarding and an outward show of patriotism for all of our service men and women: past, present and future. The 'Ride of Honor' and supporting program are two of the most anticipated and exciting events of this year's rally.

The AVTT 'Ride of Honor' (the last leg of 'Ride to the Wall') will take place on April 14th, Saturday morning. Rally time is 11:00 AM. The staging area is the unoccupied Kmart store parking lot.

The Kmart parking lot's address is 1020 N Stratford Road (N Stratford Road off Hwy 17). Taco Bell and Payless Shoes are both located in the front of the Kmart parking lot. Walmart is located on the opposite side of N Stratford Road.

KSU at 11:30 AM! All bikes will depart from the Kmart parking lot (staging area) and proceed to the location of THE WALL at the Grant County Fairgrounds. AVTT personnel  will be on hand to help park motorcylces on the grassy 'in-field' area near THE WALL.

The AVTT's opening ceremony will begin with a 'Welcoming Talk and Story Telling' event entitled 'Ride On.' Two other activities include a 'Wall Touching Ceremony' and the 'Ride of Honor' by each motorcyclist individually riding past THE WALL.

A photographer is scheduled to take a photograph of each rider riding past THE WALL. Those photographs are to be available online (download) for a nominal donation to cover expenses, order processing and shipping (if required).

All bikers and spectators are welcome participate in or simply watch and enjoy the 'Ride of Honor' ceremony hosted by the AVTT.

Rides are originating from motorcycle dealers, biker-friendly bars and restaurants, veteran's organizations, motorcycle clubs, etc. Contact your local Harley Davidson or other dealer in your area for specifics. If your dealer hasn't yet heard of the Veterans Tribute Rally in Moses Lake, WA or hasn't yet organized a ride from their location; encourage them to do so.

If there is anything we can do to help? Get organized. Make contacts. Pass on information. Give us a call or email.
