Welcome to the Veterans Tribute Rally
We want everyone to have a great time and enjoy the freedoms of this great country. The Veterans Tribute Rally is a chance to honor our veterans and those that are in harm's way to keep our country free. That being said, there are always a few rules for society to function properly for the greater good.
No Attitudes
The Veterans Tribute Rally and Grant County Fairgrounds are 'neutral turf' and we want everyone to feel welcome. If you have an attitude please seek a remedy elsewhere. Please help us keep the police and tow trucks at home by preventing others from violating this rule. We can't be everywhere all the time. Thanks.
Rally Admission
- $10 for adults (includes all four days)
- Children under the age of 12 - FREE with paid adult admission!
Camping
The Combat Vet's (CVMA Chapter 13.1) has secured nearly the entire Grant County Fairgrounds for the period of June 11-15, 2008 to secure adequate camp space for all who wish to RV or tent camp for the rally. All requests for camping are to be directed through the Veterans Tribute Rally. The Grant County Fairgrounds is not responsible for making camping reservations for the Rally.
To insure the prompt processing of your request for camp space, the preferred payment method is by money order or cashier's check. Personal checks will be accepted through May 31, 2008 but will require a longer processing time. Please include a current email or mailing address where your receipt for camping can be promptly returned to you.
Checks should be made payable to CVMA Chapter 13.1 and mailed to: CVMA Chapter 13.1, PO Box 1443, Post Falls ID 83877.
The CAMPING REQUEST FORM needs to be completed in full. Prices for camping are shown below:
Payment at the gate is CASH only!
Reservations are NOT required but are certainly advised. RV spaces in the Fairgrounds are assigned at the time of sale. The space you want may not be available if you're arriving late. Sits are first come - first served, however they are NOT assigned. If you want to camp next to your buddy, you will need to arrive together.
One Unit per RV Space
Only one camping unit will be allowed in any RV/camping site. In addition to the camping unit, the campers motorcycles and/or one 4-wheel vehicle is allowed within the site. Any additional 4-wheeled vehicles must be kept in a designated parking lot and NOT in the RV/camping area.
Electrical
You MUST know in advance the length of your RV and whether your unit requires 30 amp service or 50 amp service. The two are different and not interchangeable. Accordingly, if you give us the incorrect amperage requirement, you will need an adapter in order to have power. It will be your responsibility to provide the adapter.
Keep the Roadways Clear
No RV unit, trailer, motorcycle, and/or 4-wheeled vehicle will be allowed to extend into the roadway or run over the boundaries of the designated RV camping site. There will also be NO PARKING ALLOWED of any additional 4-wheeled vehicles, motorcycles, and/or trailers within the roadways. The roadways MUST remain clear in order for emergency crews, service vehicles, and other RV units to move freely and have full access for their respective duties/destinations.
Keeping the roadways clear is of HIGHEST PRIORITY. Please know that we'll have to strictly enforce the clearance policy. We could have a heart attack victim in an RV that the ambulance couldn't get to because of such parking. It may be a simple little rule and may create a little inconvenience, but it's a possible life or death issue. So let's all do our part to keep ourselves and our neighbors safe.
Check in at the Gold Gate
Upon your arrival at the RV/camping entrance gate, you will check in. Those with motorcycle trailers longer than 20 feet, or trailers that won't fit within the reserved RV site, must drop their trailers off in the trailer parking area (unless you have reserved an extra space). You will be directed to the appropriate RV parking space. At each RV/camping area you will be escorted to your designated RV site.
No Fireworks
Fireworks are NOT allowed. They have been outlawed by the county. Also, normally dry conditions make fireworks far too dangerous. When a nearby farmer's haystack starts on fire, government officials take the position that we should have prevented our campers from shooting off fireworks. Please don't put us in that position. And please understand when our Security Patrols are working hard to enforce this rule and apprehend violators.
Thanks for Respecting Everyone's Right to Party
The Veterans Tribute Rally is a biker rally/party, even in the RV camping area. We do not post guards at the RVs and we don't attempt to make people go to bed, sleep, etc. Taps is ceremonial function, not a true lights out.
Someone may want to party and make noise in the middle of the night. It's generally very quiet in the RV/camping areas, but it may be the guy next to you who isn't. We've found it's best to let people play on their vacation. Please bring along ear plugs if you anticipate a problem and, if you are in need of additional quiet, be sure to park on the perimeter and as far away from the stages as possible.
<<< Party On! Be safe and look out for each other. >>>
